Use this free checklist when you buy directly from an online store. FairChoice does not take payment, hold funds, or track parcels automatically.
Before payment
- Pay only in the store’s own checkout page.
- Check the final amount, currency, delivery cost and return terms.
- Do not share card codes, passwords or banking access with a seller or a stranger.
- Save the payment confirmation and store invoice.
After payment: follow the parcel
- Keep the order number and promised delivery date.
- Use the tracking link provided by the seller or carrier.
- If tracking stops, contact the seller first and keep written records.
- Use the store’s published refund or dispute route if the item does not arrive.
